Who we are

CallSalvager is a software service that answers missed calls for contracting businesses with an AI receptionist, captures the caller's details as a lead, and alerts the business owner. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account information you give us: your email address, business name, owner name, business hours, service area, services offered and other business details you enter.
• Your mobile number for operational lead alerts, plus the date, number and wording version of the consent you gave.
• Caller and lead information gathered during a call your AI receptionist answers: the caller's name, phone number, address, the problem they described and a summary of the conversation.
• Basic service records such as call timestamps, lead status changes and whether an alert text was accepted by the carrier network.

Why we use it

• To answer your missed calls and create leads in your account.
• To text you when a new lead comes in.
• To show you your leads, your setup status and simple activity totals.
• To support your account and keep the service working.

SMS lead alerts

When you add a mobile number in setup or in Settings, you must tick a box to agree to receive operational SMS lead alerts from CallSalvager at that number. The box is never pre-ticked, and we do not save or activate the number without it. These texts are operational service messages about your own leads — they are not marketing.

Message frequency varies and depends on how many calls your business misses. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out, reply STOP to any alert text. You can also clear the notification number in Settings, or email us. Opting out stops the texts; your leads still appear in your CallSalvager inbox.

Sharing

We use service providers to run CallSalvager — hosting and database, the AI voice service that answers calls, and the messaging provider that delivers your alert texts. They process this information only to provide those functions for us.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Retention and security

We keep your account and lead information for as long as your account is active, and delete or anonymize it on request. Data is stored with our hosting provider, transmitted over encrypted connections, and access is restricted so each account can only read its own records. No online service can promise perfect security, and we make no certification claims.

Your choices

You can view and edit your business information in Settings at any time, opt out of texts as described above, and email us to request a copy or deletion of your data.
